Mark R. Laderman
Co-Founder, Managing Partner

Mark Laderman is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Artisan Ventures.  Mark oversees all aspects of the company's investment activities and portfolio operations, in addition to setting strategic direction for the firm.  Prior to co-founding Artisan Ventures, Mark was the Regional Managing Director for Tishman Speyer in Southern California responsible for all aspects of the company’s business activities including acquisitions, dispositions, development, redevelopment, asset management, leasing and property management.  During his 14-year tenure with Tishman Speyer, he led the acquisition and development of 8.0 million square feet of properties totaling over $3.4 billion in transaction value.  Prior to Tishman Speyer, Mark spent four years serving as Director of Acquisitions covering the West Coast for Thomas Properties Group, a real estate investment and development company that was subsequently merged with Parkway Properties (NYSE: PKY).  Mark also worked as a commercial real estate broker with SACA Commercial and Coldwell Banker Commercial.  Mark graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and from the University of California at Irvine with a Master’s degree in Business Administration.  He is also a member of LACRA, in addition to co-founding The Wilshire Club.

COLLIN R. KOMAE
CO-FOUNDER, Managing PARTNER
Artisan Ventures

Collin is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Artisan Ventures.  Collin is responsible for the execution of all acquisition, development, redevelopment and asset management projects for the firm.  Prior to co-founding Artisan Ventures, Collin was Director of Acquisitions and Development for Tishman Speyer in Southern California.   During his 4-year tenure at Tishman Speyer, Collin acquired and developed over 2.5 million square feet of office properties totaling over $1.5 billion of transaction value. Prior to Tishman Speyer, Collin worked at CBRE (FCG), BioMed Realty Trust (BMR), UBS and Morgan Stanley.  Collin graduated from the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance emphasis.  Collin is an active member of LACRA and ULI.

Ryan Hursh
Managing Director, Asset Management

Ryan Hursh is a Managing Director of Asset and Property Management at Artisan Ventures.  Ryan oversees the operations, leasing, property management, tenant improvements, and financial reporting for the portfolio.  Prior to Artisan Ventures, Ryan has over 20 years of experience in asset and property management working for some of the largest commercial real estate companies in the US, including General Growth Properties, Macerich, Jamestown LP, Lincoln Property Company, and CBRE.  During his career he has managed an extensive number of both retail and office properties including Glendale Galleria, Westside Pavilion, Kierland Commons, Lantana, Alderwood, Malibu Village, and Runway at Playa Vista.  Ryan graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems and has obtained his CSM designation from ICSC.  He also holds a CA Real Estate Broker license and is on the board of LACRA.

Rhommel Apostol
Director, Accounting & Operations

Rhommel Apostol is a Director of Accounting and Operations at Artisan Ventures.  Rhommel is actively involved in the overall management of real estate accounting for all assets across the Artisan Ventures portfolio.  He also oversees corporate accounting, treasury and HR operations for the company.  Prior to joining Artisan Ventures, Rhommel worked at major institutional real estate companies including CBRE, Lincoln Property Company, Jamestown LP, Decurion Corporation, and General Growth Properties.  Rhommel graduated from De La Salle University, Manila with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and also completed the Accounting Certification program at UCLA.

Nick Jackson
DIRECTOR, ACQUISITIONS & ASSET MANAGEMENT

Nick Jackson is a Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management at Artisan Ventures.  Nick is responsible for identifying and underwriting new acquisitions in addition to asset management of the current portfolio.  Prior to joining Artisan Ventures, Nick worked for Bellwether Asset Management and primarily focused on the management of Oaktree Capital's real estate equity funds.  During his tenure at Bellwether, Nick managed over 20 assets across multiple asset classes totaling $1.9 billion in value.  Prior to Bellwether, Nick was a financial analyst at JP Morgan Chase & Co. where he specialized in multifamily debt and assisted with over $2 billion of originations.  Nick graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Minor in Finance.

MihRAN ALTUNKARYAN
Senior General Manager

Mihran Altunkaryan is a Senior General Manager at Artisan Ventures.  Mihran oversees day-to-day operations of assets within Artisan Ventures’ property management portfolio.  Prior to Artisan Ventures, Mihran had over 10 years of industry experience working for some of the largest commercial real estate companies in the US, including General Growth Properties, Jamestown, LP, Lincoln Property Company, and CBRE.  During his career he has managed retail, office, and mixed-use properties that include Lantana Media Campus, Malibu Village, Runway at Playa Vista, Space1520, One Santa Fe, and Brunswig Square, which earned a TOBY Award in 2019.  Mihran graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, and a concentration in Management.  He also holds a CA Real Estate Salesperson license and is an active member of LACRA.

Willow Wang
Senior Property Accountant

Willow is a Senior Property Accountant for the Artisan Ventures’ property management portfolio and plays a critical role ensuring that accurate and timely financial packages are prepared in accordance with ownership requirements (cash, modified cash or accrual basis). Willow is also responsible for cashflow projections and provides recommendations for owners’ equity contribution or distribution; draw package submissions to lenders; lease analysis and abstracting; monthly tenant billings, cash receipt application and aged AR monitoring; AP management including real estate tax, business license and insurance payments; annual CAM true-up and preparation of budgets. Prior to Artisan Ventures, Willow worked with Shapell Properties and graduated from Purdue University - Daniels School of Business with triple bachelor’s degrees in Accounting, Finance and Management.
